Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

The modern concept of big data is to capture all the data that streams into a company’s businesses, apply analytics and get significant value from it. The new benefits that big data analytics brings to the table are speed and efficiency, thanks to the introduction of Artificial Intelligence. Whereas a few years ago a business would have gathered information, run analytics and unearthed information that could be used for future decisions, today that business can identify insights for immediate decisions. The ability to work faster – and stay agile – gives enterprises a competitive edge they didn’t have before . Nevertheless, real-time big data analytics has not been widely adopted yet by enterprises for various reasons including complexity and difficult language.

PerformB is a revolutionary vertical application that enables AI to deliver the right information at the right time to maximize performance and business outcome. Thanks to its native modularity, scalability and capacity to be integrated into the most widespread legacy systems, platforms and open data ecosystems, PerformB leverages accessible datasets to create relevant natural language insights designed to support decision making and optimization of automatic processes.

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

During the Phase 1 Study INNAAS has completed a full analysis of the technical and business potential of PerformB. Throughout the project, INNAAS has greatly expanded their knowledge regarding the pilot trial validation.

The key technical milestone achieved during the project was the definition of the pilot plan requirements and partners. INNAAS secured agreements with four potential customers willing to participate in the forthcoming pilot trials. INNAAS has defined the remaining optimisation and upgrade activities required for the PerformB and all necessary stakeholders involved.

The pilot trials were defined with the key objective of demonstrating the usability of PerformB scenarios and the maximization of performance and business outcome. Following the results, INNAAS will fine tune PerformB and further run 2 roll-out projects to validate the final product on the market.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

The progress beyond the state of teh art in PerformB is represented by:
1) Fast configuration by the customer itself
2) Easy interactive ability through asking information and obtaining performance insight in natural language
3) Combines flexible enterprise modelling with instant deployment capabilities
4) Proactive insight generation supported by AI engine

INNAAS’ ultimate value proposition is to streamline information access with a zero-effort paradigm, while competitors do not focus on maximising end-user benefits from the use of Artificial Intelligence. INNAAS is the only company offering a digital solution allowing to easily deploy end-to-end AI-driven digital services leveraging existing IT assets like Data-warehouse and Big Data Investment.
