Summary of the context and overall objectives of the project

Finboot helps companies to use and integrate Blockchain applications into their daily operations with MARCO, the Blockchain Delivery Network. MARCO brings the value of the Blockchain to the client's office; filling the gap between technology and the business user. MARCO is a content delivery network, bringing a variety of Blockchain applications to the user in a trusted, easy to use and quick to integrate infrastructure
Finboot utilises the disruptive resources of Blockchain technology to reinvent the way supply chain operations are performed today. Finboot helps companies use and integrate Blockchain functionalities into their daily activities using MARCO allowing:
- a versatile solution
- Blockchain agnostic. Several sources agree in highlighting than blockchain agnosticism is a necessity for blockchain’s future
Blockchain will imply a change in cooperation between departments, companies and public entities and even though the adoption of the technology is not so visible as others
Blockchain, and MARCO as an agnostic solution, is important for the society, because gives the transparency and auditable principles of the technology and os some sensitive transactions, like oil certified, quality certification, economic transaction

Work performed from the beginning of the project to the end of the period covered by the report and main results achieved so far

Finboot has dedeveloped MARCO solution (a versatible and agnostic technology using different blockchain technlogies) to take TRL6 getting a PoC with Repsol for certified Oil&Gas supply chain.
First implementations of MARCO in Oil&Gas. Raised 2nd funding round. Structuring early commercial deals. Introduce additional authentication modules for enterprises and to enhance cybersecurity.
Aggregated a new ledger technology into MARCO.

Progress beyond the state of the art and expected potential impact (including the socio-economic impact and the wider societal implications of the project so far)

The MARCO Track&Trace application, has been tested in the Oil&Gas and the ready-made-garments Supply Chain, with the effort of introducing transparency into this industries alligned with the sustainable development goal of responsible production and consumption.
Our authentication mechanisms and Blockchain agnostic platform allows for the intorduction of this services through business oriented applications.
