6.1 Model and data interfaces. This deliverable will consist of a modelling framework, and be supplemented with complete documentation describing its structure, functionality, and operation (month 12).

8.1 Model protocol. This deliverable will specify the modelling protocol to follow with the SENTINEL framework, in order to examine the same mid-century results explored by other modelling packages. It will describe the key input parameters which are ‘fixed’ and ‘free’, and the form of results to be generated (month 18).

D9.2Dissemination and communication plan

9.2 Dissemination and communication plan. This will set out the specific plan for dissemination and communication, building on the draft plan set forth in section 2 of this proposal. The plan will identify the activities needed to fully exploit the results of the project, including an identification of the decision-making contexts where such exploitation will be likely, and hence needs to be specifically promoted. If necessary, the plan will be revised at the end of the first and second years of the project, with such revisions included in the first and second annual reports, respectively. (month 3)

7.1 Case specification and scheduling. This will be a report detailing the specific decision-making cases, reviewing relevant literature related to the decisions, and containing a plan for the model specification and stakeholder interaction throughout the three case studies (month 18).

9.4 Best practice guidelines for model transparency. This will be the primary document informing the modelling teams of the requirements for their models, supporting their final tasks of opening their models. The document will also include an identification and clarification of IPRs in the context of transparent models, and a plan for the management of those IPRs (month 12)

User needs for an energy system modelling platform for the European energy transition. This will set out the key user needs identified through the stakeholder outreach activities early in the project, and identify the decision-making contexts where SENTINEL results are potentially to be exploited, as input for WP9 (month 14).

10.2 Detailed project management plan. This will include a schedule per task, responsible partner-related subtasks, and dependencies on other tasks, as well as a Gantt chart and work breakdown structure. (month 2). Note: there will be two revisions to this document during the course of the project: one just before the end of the first reporting period, and one just before the end of the second reporting period. The deliverable will be accordingly updated.

9.3 Data management plan. This is a required element of the project, and will set forth the protocols for managing data not only collected in the project, but also those data generated by the models as part of the case studies and intercomparison. It will also include the anonymysation/pseudonymisation techniques that will be followed in the project (month 6)
