Real-time simulator-driver design and manufacturing based on flexible systems

Objective

The proposed project will take simulator-driven design and manufacturing methodologies to the Digital Twin paradigm level by developing and evaluating a number of high fidelity real-time simulation processes. The primary focus of the development will be on improving the accuracy of models by introducing a procedure to describe deformable bodies in real-time applications. The primary focus of the evaluation will be on improving the customer value and business potential of real-time simulation. By providing physics-based, game-like virtual prototyping environments, the proposed project will increase the visibility of and access to information in the areas of research and development, service business, commercialization and customer service for all stakeholders.

Keywords

Project’s keywords as indicated by the project coordinator. Not to be confused with the EuroSciVoc taxonomy (Fields of science)

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Funding Scheme

Funding scheme (or “Type of Action”) inside a programme with common features. It specifies: the scope of what is funded; the reimbursement rate; specific evaluation criteria to qualify for funding; and the use of simplified forms of costs like lump sums.
