Appropriate use of Caesarean section through QUALIty DECision-making by women and providers

The project ethics report provides detailed responses to the ethical questions raised by local and international ethics committes regarding intervention implementation and data collected and will provide the relevant authorizations for the activities conducted in collaboration with nonEuropean countries

Recommendations to adapt interventions to societal context (opens in new window)

Based on the formative research, the recommendations will inform the adaptation of the intervention at women's level

Strategy to share the research results with potential users and stakeholders and to use it beyond the project.

National implementation strategy for companionship in each country (opens in new window)

Evaluation of the institutional policy and societal context during the baseline period will allow FB to analyze the current situation to identify important differences between WHO recommendations and local practices to identify programmatic opportunities to support the introduction of companionship and identify other factors that may need to be considered for guidance to be implemented successfully Based on the findings of this formative research FB supported by CREP IRSS KKU and PNT will develop new guidelines or revise existing national guidelines or protocols based on WHO recommendations for companionship

Recommendations to adapt the different components of the strategy to institutional and policy context (opens in new window)

Based on the formative research, the recommendations will inform the adaptation of the intervention at health system level.

Risk register (opens in new window)

The Project Coordinator will maintain a Risk Register related to each taskmilestonedeliverable This Risk Register will be part of the reporting and updated prior to each Country Steering Committee meeting and all WP and Task Leaders will be required to indicate at the following meeting whether there are any risks to their WP or Task The partners responsible for causing and solving those risks will be identified in time and mitigation measures will be put in place The WP and Task Leaders will then be required to report on the solution whether the risk has been removed and any residual problems

Data analysis plan (opens in new window)

The Data Analysis Plan will describe 1 the interrupted time series analysis to assess the effect of the intervention on primary and secondary delivery care outcomes excluding maternal and perinatal death 2 the analysis of spatial inequalities in Csection rates 3 the comparison of adverse maternal and perinatal outcomes between periods before during and after intervention

Massive open online course MOOC on knowledge transfer already available in French langage translated in English and Spanish

Website development of the project for visibility and communication & dissemination supports repository. Interoperability will be created with the data platform REDCap.

Portfolio of Communication Assets delivered to partners (opens in new window)

Logo, brochure, project website, graphical charter and social media identity will support a Communication Strategy focused on the transfer of outputs to specific end-users.

Tailored training material for OLs and DCs in each country (opens in new window)

Based on the formative research and recommendations from researchers, the training tools (clinical guidelines, Robson classification table, audit report and decision-analysis tool) will be adapted to each country and translated into local langages.

Tailored Data-Analysis Tool (DAT) translated in local langage in each country (opens in new window)

Based on the findings of the formative research and recommendations from researchers, country partners (CREP, IRSS, KKU and PNT) supported by FB will adapt the DAT to each country and will translate the booklet into local langages.

The DMP addresses how research data during the QUALI-DEC lifetime will be collected/generated, processed, disseminated/made accessible, protected and archived.
