Most teaching environments still ask all pupils to perform equally and learn to the same standards. Although teaching sciences have demonstrated repeatedly that each of us is strong and weak in different subjects and/or skills, teaching methods still focus mainly on ‘one size fits all’ methodologies. Thus, life skills that are basic for human convivence (self-criticism, reflective learning, self-motivation, tolerance to frustration, etc.) are acquired with difficulty or -in worst case scenario- never acquired. In addition, some pupils have a hard time acquiring the interdisciplinary skills needed to understand and reach all subjects. In Europe this accounts for an overall 15% failure of pupils in the K12 range.
We have developed a game-changing platform that blends Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and handwriting-recognition algorithms to create an adaptive learning system that provides (1) an organic, interactive and personally adapted learning process for the pupil, (2) extensive educational content and support for the teacher/tutor, (3) constant interdisciplinary skill workout adapted to each pupil’s strengths and weaknesses. MIRABILO blends normal dynamic class and homework with cutting-edge technology, thereby reaching maximum individualization and profit.
To complete our solution we must further work to perfect our algorithms, at the same time as we complete our product by including direct contact and tutoring options, educational content and a content editor to offer the possibility of content creation or adaption.
During the Feasibility Study, we have developed several thorough assessments concerning (1) the technical implementation, pilot study outcome analysis and future validation planning and the work plan for Phase 2; (2) the commercial study focused on the European market uptake and the expansion to other extra-European countries, a search for regulations and certification and a commercialization plan and a deep FTO analysis; and (5) an assessment about the financial feasibility of the project.
By the end of the project we will be able to uptake the European market for our AI-driven platform, including options for direct tutoring and support as well as content and content creation options. By 2025, 5 years after commercialisation, we will have 780,000 licenses. This will create 12 European jobs and accumulated revenues of €41.55M and accumulated profits of €36.5M.
