Una plataforma en la nube para edificios eficientes en el plano ecológico
La demanda de vivienda crece a medida que aumenta la población. Tan solo en los tres últimos decenios, esta demanda casi se ha duplicado y ha despertado la preocupación por la necesidad de gestionar los recursos naturales de manera eficaz. Equipos de desarrolladores y diseño luchan por producir edificios eficientes en el plano ecológico a mayor velocidad y con un menor coste. Smartscapes está desarrollando ARCHITEChTURES, la primera plataforma en la nube para el diseño de una arquitectura sostenible con tecnología de inteligencia artificial. La plataforma basada en datos proporciona a los arquitectos archivos BIM 3D editables altamente desarrollados en cuestión de horas, reduciendo así los costes y los meses de trabajo necesarios cuando se utiliza el «software» tradicional. Smartscapes ya ha lanzado una plataforma operativa limitada. Un estudio de viabilidad en curso tiene por objeto definir la mejor ruta de comercialización.
Objetivo
In the next 35 years urban population will double producing a huge growing demand for housing. As population grows, concerns related to efficient management of natural resources is also increasing. The pressure is on for developers and design teams to find ways of designing eco-efficient buildings at a faster pace at lower costs, whilst maintaining or even increasing the building quality levels.
As an outcome of >3 years of R&D investment in AI-based architectural design, Smartscapes is developing ARCHITEChTURES: the first cloud-based platform for sustainable architecture design, powered by Artificial Intelligence. Our goal is to make environmentally responsible housing widely affordable whilst drastically increasing architects’ productivity: creating faster, better and greener building designs. Through ARCHITEChTURES, architects no longer need to work from a blank design and depend on a great deal of specialised knowledge/time to bet on the practise of green housing design. Our data-driven platform creates the best starting point: highly developed 3D editable BIM files in a matter of hours, rather than months as in traditional software. ARCHITEChTURES’ designs are automatically optimized and eco-efficient, also blending with the building environment. Our pricing is adapted to users’ needs and size and viability studies/reports are automatically generated at an early stage to better guide the overall project development.
The company behind ARCHITEChTURES is built on the back of 20 years of architecture and software development expertise. Smartscapes already launched a limited applicability operative platform, which generated great interest in the professional sector. The present feasibility study aims to define the best commercialisation route, targeted markets and feature implementation roadmap. ARCHITECTURES is the cornerstone of our strategic plan to catapult our enterprise and to position our enterprise as a leading innovator in the digital architecture era.
