Project description
Safe and dependable user identity management
With digitalisation pushing both state, private and public processes and utilities online, people’s digital identity needs to be safe and secure during these processes. The EU-funded LOQR project aims to develop and provide governments and corporations with a safe and secure way to protect and access the ids and data of their clients while respecting their privacy. This solution will allow them to assess and verify client identity through their electronic devices, and provide a good user experience, while also managing privacy, legal and other aspects and initiatives for user safety. LOQR is also compliant with all regulations while its simple integration is designed to allow organisations to scale to unlimited devices and users.
Objective
In an increasingly digital world, people use digital tools for everyday activities with convenience and ease and relate with other people, entities and objects through digital channels all the time. Therefore, it has become an important need to have a trustworthy digital identity that can be controlled solely by its single true owner.
Loqr is developing this solution to provide corporations and governments with a highly reliable way to manage their clients, employees, partners and citizens’ digital identity when delivering their business. Be it through digital channels or in a physical context, companies need to be able to identify and authenticate persons using their personal electronic communication devices.
Loqr solutions are built to securely manage the end-to-end lifecycle of billions of digital identities, assuring both legal, privacy and compliance aspects like GDPR, NISD, AML, MiFID and PSD2 initiatives, but also delivering user an excellent user experience when performing identity verification, authentication and access control.
Loqr Digital Identity Management Platform provides a single integrated and centralized solution to provide identity validation, risk-based strong adaptatively identity authentication and unified access management, thought a single trusted identity that can be used by a unique person on all services.
LOQR has, among its senior team, several experts in the fields of citizen cards, electronic passports and border control systems. These same experts have helped lay the foundations of several of those identity systems worldwide. Our team of 24 has increased our sales from 60.000€ in 2017 to an expected 500.000€ in 2018.
With our unique full-cycle Identity Management as a Service platform, we overcome the geographical fragmentation of cybersecurity. LOQR allows any European company or institution to integrate digital identity management in their products, which is essential to compete on the national, European and global level.
