Report on conferences, trade shows and annual panel sessions M13

Attendance at conferences and trade shows. To strengthen the project dissemination, create awareness about the project, to find synergies and cooperation with initiatives and stakeholders, especially to increase networking within academia and with industry there are 8 visits to international conferences and trade shows foreseen: • The International Society for optics and Photonics (SPIE): Smart Structures and Nondestructive Evaluation, panel Electroactive Polymer Actuators and Devices (EAPAD) • IEEE Robotics and Automation Society: RoboSoft • International Symposium on Wearable Robotics: WearRAcon • International Conference on Biomimetic and Biohybrid Systems “Living Machines” • International conference on Electromechanically Active Polymer transducers & artificial muscles (EuroEAP) • International Conference on Soft Robotics and Flexible Materials (ICSRFM) • Tradeshows: IDTechEx Business Insight Forums: Printed Electronics; Flexible, Printed and Organic Electronics. TWINNIMS annual panel sessions. To ensure the visibility of the TWINNIMS project as part of the international conferences listed above the consortium organises 3 annual panel sessions on the project. The sessions will be organized as side-events of the conferences. The panels will focus on the capacity building focus areas and lessons learnt from the project activities. As the project focuses on the topics that are novel in the research area knowledge sharing with wider audiences in form of annual panel sessions is mutually beneficial for the organisers from the consortium and for the audience. Also, it enables networking for grant or project writing purposes. Each panel session will have 20 participants.
