Regulations and sustainable business models on islands

This deliverable is the output of T1.4 and will provide an overview of the regulatory situation on EU islands, identifing sustainable business models, where appropriate and feasible for the different technological solutions to be implemented

Financial instruments supporting islands energy transition

This deliverable is the output of task 1.5. It will consist of a mapping of European financial instruments and models to support islands in their energy transition providing them with relevant strategic data, information and key indicators to understand the financial opportunities available.

Report from islands staff coaching round 1

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 7.3. It consists in a report from the coaching activities, including collective webinars and individual coaching (number of sessions, attendance, summary of participants feedback).

Final public project report

This is the last deliverable of T 9.2 and will include the final project report in order to disseminate NESOI results

Definition of assessment KPIs

This deliverable will consist of a report on the selected cross-cutting KPIs to be used for the a) development of the NESOI’s evaluation framework and b) the impacts monitoring of the NESOI assistance. It will include multiple short listed KPIs (at least 5) per each domain of evaluation; the latter among others being a) technical, b) environmental, c) social and d) legal shortlisted indicators of evaluation (Task 6.1)

Communication and dissemination strategy

This deliverable consists in a communication and dissemination strategy developed at the beginning of the project (T8.1),. and updated every 6 months according to developments and upcoming activities

Legal instruments supporting islands energy transition

The deliverable is an outcome of task 1.6. Based on the analysis of the applicable EU regulatory framework, an outline of available legal instruments supporting the islands energy transition, including direct and indirect regulations, would be prepared to allow for further development of island-specific mechanisms in project implementation

Report on the call for applicants round 1

This deliverable is the output of the subtask 3.5.1, related to the results of the first call for applicants (T3.4.1). The deliverable will indicate the project selected to be supported through technical assistance (WP 4 & 5)

NESOI assessment framework

Update on the NESOI assessment framework, mainly related to updated list of KPIs used to support T6.1 and feed NESOI’s Facilitating Platform. The D6.1 list of KPIs will be updating every 6 months to include the effect of any arising parameters on the evaluation of the island plans (Task 6.1)

Templates and documentation (M21, M38)

The deliverable is an outcome of task D 4.2. Based on the analysis of legal instruments supporting islands energy transition, templates and further documentation useful to deploy technical assistance activities and define its quality standards will be prepared with an emphasis on employing a uniform approach in project implementation

This deliverable which is the output of T51 includes the model used for the subgrant agreement

Dissemination report

This deliverable is the report from task 8.4 activities. It will summarize the dissemination activities carried out during the project lifetime. It will include the list of stakeholders contacted, dissemination events and webinars organized by NESOI partners, external events with NESOI participation, summary of NESOI inputs into BRIDGE deliverables, feedback from the collaboration with the Cities Facility and other investment energy-platforms.

NESOI Facilitating Platform Architecture, Design Mock-ups and MVP definition (M4, M12)

This report is one of the outcomes of Task 2.1. The first version will include a high level description of the conceptual architecture; it will also include system context diagrams as well as the methodology for deriving the architecture. Final version will include several viewpoints (information, development, communication, etc.), as well as dynamic view of the NEF Platform (using UML sequence diagrams) linked with the Use Cases and Applications Scenarios

Fund matching report (M36, M48)

This delivery is linked with task T4.4. It will consist of a report, developed for each selected project, conceiving the identification of potential investors or financial resources, as well as the results of the activities developed in order to reach the financing (meeting with potential investors, pipeline presentation, ecc.)

Report from the survey to collect islands’ needs

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 7.1. It consists in the consolidation and analysis of the feedback received from EU stakeholders to the co-creation survey. It will include the list of national clusters and EU associations which will have acted as intermediaries to distribute the survey and collect answers.

Guidebook towards replication of islands' energy transition projects in 6 different languages

This deliverable is the outcome of task 6.2. Based on the identification of common and distinctive features of all supported islands, a guidebook of best practices and lessons learnt will be elaborated in order to stimulate the replication of such projects towards other islands, in Europe and beyond.

Report from the Regional Workshops round 1

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 7.2, subtask 7.2.1. It will present (in English) the report from the six Regional workshops from round 1. It will include list of attendees, main topics discussed and results from evaluation survey distributed to workshop participants

TA Assessment framework (M19, M34)

This deliverable is the output of task 4.1. after being selected during the two round calls for applicants, the projects will be analysed with regard to their relevant dimensions (i.e. sector of intervention and technology, location, investments, timing for developing) and divided into homogeneous clusters. Moreover, a committed team will be identified for each project.

Definition of eligibility pre-requisites

This deliverable is the output of T31 It will gather the requisites needed by the Island to participate to Open Calls to prove the Island current ongoing roadmap towards decarbonisation

Monitoring report on on-site TA

This deliverable, which represents the output of T4.5, will consists in a monitoring system providing the Local Authorities with proper indicators and milestones to control the development of the activities and the achievement of the objectives.

Critical technologies for islands' energy transition

This deliverable is the output of T1.3. It will consist of a catalogue of enabling technologies for EU Islands energy transition, with a detailed assessment of technical/non-technical pros/cons

Islands’ needs & requirements for islands energy transition

This deliverable is the output of T1.1 and will contain the co-creation survey results, as the basis for the development of the NESOI toolkit. In this sense, the toolkit and methodology from the technological, financial, business model, and citizen engagement perspective to guide the islands in structuring their energy transition plans are the key results for this deliverable.

Collaborative and capacity building components (M9, M12, M48)

This document is one of the outcomes of Task 2.3. First version will provide insights on the design of this component (MVP with mockups), whereas on M12 a first version of the platform will be available (covering the social collaboration context). In the last version the e-learning component will be included, along with full implementation details of the collaborative components

NESOI Facilitating Platform Implementation (M12, M18, M48)

The outcome of this report is linked with Task 2.5. First version will include technical details for the launch of the platform, including the integration planning of other components of the NEF platform, whereas on M18 the achievements on the first version of the integrated platform will be reported. Final version will include the description of the final prototype, including unit tests performed at various layers of the NEF platform

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 72 subtask 722 It will gather the contents prepared for the first round of Capacity Building workshops addressing topics such as the experience feedback from the technical assistance to the firstround selected islands the main features of the new InvestEU programme the concept of technologypairing and the stateoftheart islandspecific technical solutions including those developed within H2020 islands projects These contents will be available in 6 different languages

Profiling and Smart matching component (M9, M12, M48)

This document is one of the outcomes of Task 2.2. First version will report the design of the initial MVP (mockups), including detailed requirements for the gamification & match-making component (linked with Task 2.1), whereas on M12 a first MVP will be available. Final version will include the matchmaking engine description as well as the functionalities provided by this component

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 7.2, subtask 7.2.1. It will gather the contents prepared for the first round of Capacity Building workshops, addressing topics such as financial concepts, suitable technologies, citizen engagement & co-creation. Equity crowdfunding component (M12, M18, M48)

This report is one of the outcomes of Task 2.4. First version will provide a demonstrable mockup for the MVP, whereas on M18 a first version of the platform will be available. The final version will cover all the implementation and extensions made to support envisioned features of NEF platform (linked with Task 2.1 specifications).

This deliverable is one of the outcomes of task 73 subtask 731 It consists in slides infographics videos and other material developed in English with subtitles in local languages to be communicated to the islands having benefited from the NESOI technical assistance WP4 WP5 through collective webinars
