After launching in the whole Spanish market (1Millon Anglers) we are targeting The U.S. (50M A.), The U.K. (2.4M A.) ant The Republic of Ireland (400.000 A.) markets. These countries are more technologically mature, and they have a strong recreational fishing culture and the angler´s need towards our service is more defined. Our strategy is entering in the U.K. (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) as a springboard to the U.S. market which has over 50 million of anglers. Within the USA we are entering in five of the main states regarding its inland fishing culture as Montana, Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Wyoming.
1) A regulation analysis has been carried out by our experts in the field of International Regulation, where the annual fishing orders for each geographical area have been identified and analyzed.
2) Market analysis. The priority countries are characterized by their technology maturity (key aspect for our business model), their inland fishing culture, high level income and the average expenses in angling equipment per angler as well as the angler´s profiles who are quite younger which implies higher willingness to pay for online contents/services.
3) Technical and Operational analysis. The C&F´s value proposition differs from those of competitors. Likewise, there is a feasibility of obtaining hydrological and environmental data from open data sources and in the capturing 360º images and installing of our IoT Smart Buoys in strategic finish waters hotspots.
4) Financial analysis. C&F´s unique selling point is strongly competitive, and we get a detailed estimation of the costs necessary to face Phase-2 and markets launch. Due to demand elasticity and the limited offer of competitors as complete as C&F, users are willing to pay a higher price for our services which implies cover costs in these 11 priority markets.
The main goal of the feasibility analysis has been achieved, in order to enter in these 11 priority markets.
