During our project, we assessed the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of our business innovation project. We tuned our technical roadmap to advance IGP Operation to TRL9 and analysed the key market drivers that will fuel the adoption of our software product by our customers. Based on our market analysis, we fine-tuned our commercialisation plan for wide market adoption. From the financial side, we calculated the necessary investment to launch IGP Operation in the market and forecasted our financials for the commercialisation period.
In the technical part, we established the roadmap to advance IGP Operation to TRL-9, we analysed the technical risks and established their mitigation actions. In the commercial part, we analyzed the electricity distribution industry and the main drivers that will fuel IGP Operation adoption by our target customers. We tuned our commercialization plan for fast market entry and optimized our dissemination plan to maximize awareness for IGP Operation. Our Freedom to Operate analysis evidenced that our technology does not infringe any IPR, and our competition analysis confirmed our lead over existing products. From the financial side, we calculated the necessary investment to launch our product in the market, we validated its’ financial viability and we projected our revenues for the commercialization period.
IGP Operation will facilitate the clean energy transition towards a more secure, competitive and sustainable energy system. The clean energy transition requires smart and more flexible energy grids, capable of integrating millions of renewable energy resources and new loads (e.g. Electric Vehicle charging points) into the electricity grids. Our technology directly supports Distribution System Operators in their future challenges with the mass integration of renewable energies and EV charging points into the power grids. In the long-term, IGP Operation will facilitate the implementation of EU’s 2050 climate-neutral strategy.
