Objective
The overall objective of this project aims at reducing time and cost for exploration appraisal of hydrocarbon reservoirs by providing an accurate image of the borehole for wells drilled with non conductive mud (NCM). In particular, the challenge will be to provide the same image quality in NCM wells than what is recognized as the state of the art in water based mud wells today. Specifically, the project consortium sets out to study, engineer and demonstrate a prototype of a highly integrated imager for NCM wells.
