Deliverables Other (2) Set-up content management system With respect to content management, AIT will set up a web-based content management system (CMS) to facilitate the communication and the exchange of documents between partners. The access to the CMS will be provided on the project website via user specific ID and password. The structure of the CMS will be agreed on by all partners. The CMS will be continuously maintained and updated until the end of the project. Press release The dissemination of the results to research managers, company representatives and scientists not participating in the project, will be assured by the means of publications as well as by the participation in workshops and public forums such as events organised by the EC. Interaction with other EU and national projects as well as stakeholder organisations in the field of point-of-care diagnostics, ophthalmic diagnosis, and health care will be initiated. Various other routes of communication in non-scientific media will be actively pursued to ensure the visibility of HandheldOCT in the public such as publications in popular science magazines, press releases, popular science presentations on television and social media. At least two press releases will be launched by CZ at the beginning and at the end of the project on the vision of the HandheldOCT project and on its achievements, respectively. Websites, patent fillings, videos etc. (3) Training event: Medical background on retinal diseases Task 84 Training and education actions month 618During the project training actions will be taken to ensure knowledge exchange and to deepen the awareness with respect to key topics in this highly interdisciplinary consortium The courses will be primarily directed to students and staff scientist as well as engineers of the partner organisations but also open to external guests Three courses with internal and external experts are planned with the following topics1Medical background on retinal diseases2Optical imaging in medicine 3Photonic integrated circuit technology photonic packagingRole of partners in this taskCZ task leader Organisation of training and education actionsMUW Hosting andor performing training and education actionsALL PARTNERS Participating in training and education actions Training event: Optical imaging in medicine Task 84 Training and education actions month 618During the project training actions will be taken to ensure knowledge exchange and to deepen the awareness with respect to key topics in this highly interdisciplinary consortium The courses will be primarily directed to students and staff scientist as well as engineers of the partner organisations but also open to external guests Three courses with internal and external experts are planned with the following topics1Medical background on retinal diseases2Optical imaging in medicine 3Photonic integrated circuit technology photonic packagingRole of partners in this taskCZ task leader Organisation of training and education actionsMUW Hosting andor performing training and education actionsALL PARTNERS Participating in training and education actions Training event: Photonic integrated circuit technology & photonic packaging Task 8.4: Training and education actions (month 6-18) During the project training actions will be taken to ensure knowledge exchange and to deepen the awareness with respect to key topics in this highly interdisciplinary consortium.
