PIMCITY: BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION PERSONAL DATA PLATFORMS

Deliverables

Project Handbook and Quality plan

The handbook brings together a wide range of general operational information including contact details, operational and reporting processes, communication protocols, document templates, and procedures for conflict resolution. This report will contain the monitoring and evaluation framework for the project, including key performance indicators, technical quality control, risk logs and the procedures for risk monitoring and decision making (T8.1, T8.2).

Interim Report of first year

The report will detail the status of the plan of activities at the middle of the first year, including updated GANTT chart and status of the resources highlight possible critical tasks and indicate corrective measures.

First year dissemination and exploitation report

Dissemination and exploitation report of the first year.

Outreach and engagement strategy

Comprehensive plan including dissemination, communication, and community building strategies (T6.1, T6.2, T6.3). The report will include a communication plan for the involvement of European citizens' community at a large scale.

Design of the cloud controller, open APIs, PDA, TT and data Marketplace

This deliverable will provide the complete design of the cloud controller, the open APIs and the three integrated components, the PDA, the TT and the data Marketplace with a special attention to their relations with the core components (T5.1, T5.2, T5.3, T5.4, T5.5). A clear specification of which Partner will be responsible for hosting each component of PIMCity Platform will be detailed.

Design of tools for improved data management

This deliverable will provide the first complete design of the main components devoted to improving the data management

Report on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and societal impact

Report on the state of play regarding RRI findings and activities during the first year of the project, including the final version of the ethical requirements for human participation in research. (T7.3) To comply with the education requirement under RRI, a Visual Law Lab Workshop will be organized in M9 of the project, based on the first version of the privacy policy and informed consent forms drafted under D7.1, to improve accessibility, readability, accuracy and consistency, leading to the final version of these documents. This Deliverable will also report on the societal impact of the PIMCity project.

Design of tools to improve user’s privacy

This deliverable will provide the first complete design of the main components devoted to improving the users’ privacy (T2.1, T2.2, T2.3, T2.4)

Design of data valuation tools and trading engine

This deliverable will provide the first complete design of the data valuation tools and the trading engine by taking into account the envisioned Marketplace (T3.1, T3.2, T3.3)

Legal requirements for the PIMCity platform and its components

It constitutes a mapping exercise of the legal requirements that are to form the foundation of the PIMCity platform, based on T7.2. It will be based on the GDPR and e-Privacy Directive/Regulation. Data protection and privacy elements that are likely to be challenging in light of the PIMCity project, will be identified. For example (i) Risks stemming from the large scale personal data processing for providing a privacy-preserving tool and trading personal data; (ii) The inevitable encounter with special categories of data; (iii) The presence of algorithms and automated- decision making; (iv) The transparency obligation in light of privacy policies and informed consent forms. This deliverable will be drafted simultaneously with D1.1 on the technical and user requirements specification. This way the project can build upon a comprehensive requirement definition from the outset, which should form the foundation for all further work carried out in light of the project.

Design of the user-centric Marketplace

This deliverable will provide a design of the Marketplace to be used by the project (T3.1)

Project public launch

Release of the visual identity set, website and project video (T6.1).

Interim Report of second year

The report will detail the status of the plan of activities at beginning of the second year, including updated GANTT chart and status of the resources highlight possible critical tasks and indicate corrective measures.

Final design and preliminary version of the tools to improve user’s privacy

This deliverable will provide the final design of the main components devoted to improving the user’s privacy. Moreover, a preliminary version of the tools will be delivered (T2.1, T2.2, T2.3, T2.4)

Final design and preliminary version of the data valuation tools and trading engine

This deliverable will provide the final design of the data valuation tools and the trading engine. Moreover, a preliminary version of the software will be delivered (T3.2, T3.3)

Final design and preliminary version of the tools for improved data management

This deliverable will provide the final design of the main components devoted to improving the data management. Moreover, a preliminary version of the tools will be delivered (T4.1, T4.2, T4.3, T4.4)

Data management plan

The initial report on the PIMCity data management plan, following the FAIR Data Management guidelines and template published by the H2020 programme. It describes the data management life cycle for the data to be collected, processed and generated. A crucial part of D7.1 is the carrying out of data protection impact assessment – in line with article 35 GDPR. A first version of the necessary documents will also be drawn up (privacy policy, informed consent forms for the beta-testers...) and added as annexes to the deliverable.
