The document includes guidelines targeted at science education researchers teachers educators in formal nonformal and informal contexts science communicators and professional institutions with science education and communication in their mission The guidelines articulate three main sections the first section includes the theoretical and pedagogical framework of the approach to science education the second section includes a list of design and implementation principles aimed to operationalize the theoretical and pedagogical approaches into practical recommendations Principles and recommendations concern both the design and implementation of teaching materials but also the creation of interdisciplinary multiactor contexts and the implementation of coteaching and openschooling models In the third section the principles are illustrated through case studies or examples taken from the implementations

The report represents the main result of WP2 and contains the results from the analysis on existing showcases of use of innovative languages and narratives informal and nonformal contexts effective in dealing with complexity interdisciplinarity andor futurization of science the description of results from Workshop I and II with a special focus on the resulting prototypes and their innovative features on the dimension of interdisciplinaritycomplexity and that of futurization in the framework of accelerationa set of recommendations to revise andor redesign new materials and activities for science education exploiting the innovations highlighted by the workshops

The report represents the main result of WP1 and contains a results of the crossnational quantitative and qualitative surveys among institutional stakeholders about the limits and potential of the current organization of knowledge in disciplines as well as a report on the institutional scientific conceptual and cultural barriers induced by the current organization of the teaching courses b results of study group about possible intermultitransdisciplinary forms of knowledge organization and forms of coteaching and openschooling needed to implement them c recommendations for the design of materials and activities aimed to develop thinking skills needed by the young generation to get oriented in the complexity of the contemporary world and play an active role as coproducers andor users of scientific knowledge in the society of acceleration
