In all industries, traditional development, design and testing of physical products are exposed to the malfunctioning of the final product in the real-world settings, after large and expensive development cycles. One solution to maximize the detection of product design defects and minimize the production of costly physical prototypes, is to generate a wide range of digital versions of the product to test with simulations that reproduce real-world through models. Nevertheless, traditional simulation solutions remain expensive and complex which make them non-affordable for European small and medium sized companies, limiting their innovation capability. Furthermore, the impact of developing more reliable final products through simulations is not only economic but also survival-related, minimizing or even avoiding potential accidents due to malfunctioning of components used for aerospace or automotive industries.
In this context, the objective of PACEFISH is democratize wind tunnel CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) solutions providing tool that compared to state-of-art solutions maintains reliable accuracy compared to real-world experiments (5% deviation window from experimental data) but with : (1) reduction in the upfront investment up to 90%; (2) performance enhancement of 30 times and (3) 95% reduction of pre-processing.

In the technical viability plan we defined a complete project to implement the required technological upgrades like the optimization of PACEFISH prototype and implementation of new thermal and aeroacoustics feature. In our commercialization plan: we carried out an in-depth analysis of the CFD market, defined TAM, SAM and SOM, carried out an analysis of the competitors landscape and proposed a pre-commercialization strategy to reach the go-to-market. In the financial feasibility study, we estimated the financial projection of PACEFISH after EIC accelerator pilot as well as developed a detail business plan.
PACEFISH is an affordable, fast, accurate and easy-to-use CFD software to simulate wind tunnel experiments that can beat in performance current CFD solutions in Automotive and AEC sectors with a lower price maintaining reliable accuracy. PACEFISH is the cornerstone of Numeric Systems mission towards democratization of wind tunnel CFD simulations to SMEs. Compared to state-of-art solutions, PACEFISH key features are based on its high-performance (30x than current CFD solutions), the cost reduction (90% reduction in the upfront investment and license) and easy pre-processing tasks (95% reduction of pre-processing effort).
