We were working on three main tasks :
First task : Pass the certifications for the European market and patent extension (FR 3052139),
Second task : Extend the brand TOM-E in Europe,
Third task : Define the profile and the strategy to hire a commercial director from the mobility industry.
For the first task, the product is qualified for the CE certification and is at the stage of industrial prototype. We also contracted with the industrial which will produce the product. It is a french industrial with a factory in Tunisia. The patent is extended in the followong countries : Europe, Russia, Israel, USA, Canada, Japan, Korean, India and China.
For the second task, we sucess to extend the TOM-E brand in Europe which cover the topics : 9, 38, 39, 42. This is the best protection that we can expected for our product name. We were working with the company LEGI LC.
For the third task we define a profil for the saleman/salewomen who will support TOM-E for the commercialization stage. The overall profil is the following :
- 10 years on the mobility indusry,
- Strong attraction for technology (especially GPS),
- Compagnies background : Garmin, Sigma, Trimble, Magellan, Tom Tom, Coyotte.
- His/Her objective will be to license the technology to a large mobility group to distribute it under its brand (white label).
