Project description
A sustainable and competitive boost for Romania’s SMEs
Romania’s SMEs will become more sustainable and internationally competitive. This is the aim of the EU-funded ERBSN 4 H2020 project, which will focus on the country’s Macroregion 2, or RO2, (comprising 2 development areas, north-east and south-east, serving the counties of Bacau, Botosani, Braila, Buzau, Constanta, Galati, Iasi, Neamt, Tulcea, Vaslui and Vrancea). Its goal will be to assist SMEs located in RO2 to increase their contribution to promoting growth and jobs. The ERBSN – Eastern Romanian Business Support Network – will facilitate SME access to European and international markets and the development of innovation projects, by helping to improve the environment for businesses. In Romania, SMEs account for slightly more than half of value added and almost two thirds of employment in Romania’s total ‘non-financial business economy’.
Objective
ERBSN 4 H2020 services in Romania RO2 region will ensure the delivery of “Key Account Management” (KAM) support
services for the beneficiaries of EIC Pilot, as well as services to enhance innovation management capacities of SMEs.
