Innovation for Eastern Mediterranean SMEs
Due to its geographical position linking Europe with the Middle East, Turkey’s Eastern Mediterranean region offers a wide range of opportunities for business. COSME and the H2020 Programme, in line with the Europe 2020 strategy, offer specific services to regional small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) aiming to help them increase their competitiveness and sustainability. The EU-funded InnosuppEastMed project will provide SMEs with full support along the entire value chain to help them develop their innovation management capacity. The project will identify SMEs eligible to receive consultative support and will deliver tailored programmes and training through two different types of packages, centering on key account management (KAM) and enhancing innovation management capacity (EIMC) services.
Objective
Aim of the project is to become a true one-stop-shop for business and innovation support along the entire value chain,providing its services in the proposed region the context of COSME and HORIZON 2020 Programme and in line withthe Europe2020 strategy. innovation support services will helpstrengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of regional enterprises.
Proposed project will include two acitivity type which are “Key account management under the SME Instrument ofHorizon 2020” and “Services to enhance the innovation management capacities of SMEs”
