New return channels with 100 return points
(s’ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre)
A key cost component in the RePack system are the fees from national postal operators for handling the return of used RePack’s. The cost of return logisticscan be significantly reduced through new, alternative return logistics channels. These include in-store returns or returns through existing recycling systems, such as those set up for the Packaging ordinance and extended producer responsibility in packaging. New return channels enable scalable growth by increasing the number of return points and lowering the costs for a key component in the business model.Task 1.1 includes setting up alternative return logistics channels through identifying potential partners for in-store returns (existing & new customers) or through existing EPR channels (such as Grune Punkt, Citeo, etc.) and promoting them to customers. The result is a network of established in-store return channels with at least 30 return points by M12 and at least 100 collection points by M24.
