Integration of it-systems and databases, that are not designed to be integrated, is complicated. Yet, the exchange of data is one of the key drivers for the world to become more connected and effective.
ONEiO is an integration service that is designed for real time data exchange integrations typically needed in person-to-person or person-to-machine integrations (e.g. it-support centres).

ONEiO is running on our proprietary integration platform. ONEiO provides technical solution for easy integration of databases and systems, as well as 24/7 monitoring and maintenance of the integrated data flows. Integration with ONEiO is based on prefabricated system-specific connectors which utilize AI-supported functionalities. With ONEiO’s user-friendly configuration UI:s integrations can be developed in hours, rather than months. No technical expertise is required.
Objective of the project is to develop ONEiO to the next level in terms of connectivity, scalability, security and usability.

We were able to achieve all the over-all goals of the project. Connectivity of ONEiO platform has been improved among other things by self-service functionalities for the most popular itsm-tools. Also usability of service as well as user management functionalities have been markedly improved in the Project as planned. Scalability of the Service was improved, and also further scalability was ensured in the project. We are now transmitting on average more than 1,2 million message every day, which is approximately 15 messages every second. During the Project the importance of it-security has been growing steadily. It-security has always been one of the main corner stones of our Service, and is regarded as more and more essential requirement to our customers. Therefore, we are now very happy to have been certified, as planned in the Project, to ISO 27001
This project concentrates on productization of ONEiO Service. Transmission performance of the platform was many folded during the Project. Our new release management tools allow us to make controlled gradual feature releases. Progressive releases with feature flags are a great tool for us to get new functionality faster and more securely to our customers. We also implemented a new user interface database that enables us to scale the service in the future in various different ways. New view to endpoint statuses was also implemented. Based on the experience that we have gained during the Project, we amended our go-to-market strategy from PLG (product-led-growth) to Service Provider centric sales-led-strategy.

During the project our monthly recurring revenue grew from EUR 193 000 to EUR 285 000 (48 %) and we were able to add many important companies to our customer list: e.g. Bayer, Adidas, TRUMPF, Fresenius, Sixt, AHEAD, Atos, Bechtle, Volkswagen, CDW, Lumen and CANCOM. Customers typically start with 1-3 integrations and expand later the number of their integrations. Many of these companies are potentially large customers for us in the near future. During the project DACH became an important market for us. We are currently employing four persons in Germany and intend to double that number by the end of 2023.
The project is about productization of the Service. Useability, scalability, manageability and security of the Service will be further improved. ONEiO integration service will be easy to understand and use. Exchange of data between different databases, which is crucial for the utilization of data for the benefit of the society at large, becomes available, secure and affordable.

The effects of the H2020 Project have spread beyond funding. The fact that we were qualified for a H2020 project has in itself increased our relevance as an employer, supplier and as an investment target.

As a result of better understanding our customers, we changed our go-to-market model during the project from product-led to sales-led. We still believe that the product-led ideas will have an important role also in the furute in our upsales, which in our expansion business model is a major source of growth.

Connectivity of different information systems will have a material effect particularly in Europe where the average business size is considerably smaller than for instance to the USA. Many traditional as well new companies are more and more data-driven, which places ever-greater demands on data exchange, both within and between organizations. ONEiO Service is now a proven solution which can provide superior connectivity with very competitive pricing. We have all the reason to believe that ONEiO will an important role to play in the digitalization of European business networks.
