Project description
A solution for ticketing challenges
The event management industry is booming. So are mobile purchases. Companies that sell tickets such as event organisers and sports clubs require easy and secure procedures for customers. The EU-funded KEYPER project will build on the print@home ticket market and other wallet alternatives such as Apple's Passbook. KEYPER is a SaaS toolset to specify rules for right transfer from, to and among customers. Specifically, this new technology can be extended to and combined with several internal or external sales boosting solutions. It also enables handing out of tickets. For instance, customers who buy a ticket from a company that uses KEYPER can hand on and sell tickets easily.
Objective
Mobile purchases via smartphone and online ticket sales have increased rapidly in recent years. However, in the field of mobile ticketing, very little has changed. Print@home tickets are becoming increasingly popular, and wallet alternatives such as Apple's Passbook are also finding more uses. However, the organizers' implementations are not user-friendly and do not cover the needs of ticket buyers and sellers. keyper is a SaaS toolset to specify rules for right transfer from, to and among customers. Our service is fast, easy, secure, mobile, with or without payment, and it generates more revenue. The first application is to solve the ticketing challenge as keyper allows transferring tickets to anyone at any time and the organizer knows who the person is that eventually attends the event. The keyper SDK technology can be white-labelled by event organizers and integrated into their existing ticketing solutions. Our technology can be extended to and combined with several internal or external sales boost solutions. Our innovation gives us access to the €55 billion event ticket total market and €5 billion European sports tickets market. Our goal is to be part of the 34 billion ticket transactions that will happen from 2018-22. We follow an SaaS-based subscription model with three different levels depending on the amount of ticket and support plan. Our suppliers are hosting and utility companies. Our clients are any companies that sell tickets such as event organizers and sport clubs. And just as it can be used for tickets, keyper can be used for any type of personal right assignment. keyper is disruptive as it enables handing out tickets, which is otherwise possible in only a few cases – keyper creates the market of reassigned tickets for a fee. If consumers buy a ticket from a company that uses keyper, they can hand on and even sell tickets without any hassle.
