Periodic Reporting for period 1 - Walleye (The world’s first fully portable hand-held microwave imaging technology scanner)
Période du rapport: 2019-11-01 au 2020-04-30
Walleye is the world’s first fully portable scanner, battery powered with hand-held microwave imaging technology. Its revolutionary handheld camera can see through luggage, walls, clothing (including coats), packaging, suitcases, shoes, and opaque containers to provide video images of what is inside.
The main objective is to investigate pursuing a market development strategy. Seeing how our patented technology is certified according to the regulations required for aviation security screening equipment. We aim to expand the use of our Walleye device in Europe and Worldwide.
We have upgraded the 24 gigahertz model to 60 gigahertz using the same designs but with faster components which will become available at cost-effective prices. The camera works and requires only minor refinement for large-scale manufacturing and sales.
Regaring our targeted market and target users, we've decided to extend the use of our technology to prison systems, municipal police and jails have expressed an interest. It is not inconceivable that most jails and many police cars will have Walleye cameras as well. There appears to be an even larger market worldwide for use in foreign law enforcement and security.
We've also defined a commercial use of our Walleye technology for maintenance and repair in hundreds of thousands of apartment complexes, office buildings, schools, malls, government buildings, high rise buildings, manufacturing and other commercial buildings for routine maintenance purposes. It accurately locates and provides images of wires, pipes, studs, joists, ducting, water leaks and termite infestation. It eliminates time consuming guesswork and expensive mistakes in locating problems within walls, floors, ceilings and roofs. Users are building and facilities maintenance staffs, plumbers, electricians and heating ventilation air conditioning servicers
The company has conducted an extensive analysis of the competitive landscape. The results of the analysis show that the Walleye technology is unique and will offer the user capabilities that that been available at the price/performance combination to date.
The majority of the detailed design and development activity took place during this feasibility study, emphasizing execution, divided into two parts: Design and Development, and Test and Evaluation. Manufacturing and support process. Development including integration/manufacturing and acceptance process development, product announcement planning, and customer service processes.
