Objetivo While the Standard Model of particle physics is extremely successful in explaining most experimental data in particle physics, it is believe that it is incomplete. First of all, the Higgs boson, predicted by the Standard Model hasn't been discovered yet. If it exists, the Standard Model requires an incredible fine-tuning of one of its parameters. The most well-known, and widely accepted solution to this problem is to embed the Standard Model in a super-symmetric theory. Such theories have been extensively studied in the past twenty years. We would like to study alternatives to super-symmetry to solve the hierarchy problem. In particular, we will focus on a new class of models, the little Higgs models.
