Objective
Within the past years, the European Commission has supported a broad range of demonstration projects for the exploitation of European geothermal resources. The state of the art and the well developed geothermal applications in different member states have been mainly initiated through European RTD and demonstration programmes and numerous replications of successfully demonstrated technologies could be achieved. Aim of the proposal is to assess and to identify the excellent market opportunities of geothermal energy utilization schemes in Turkey from the technical and economical point of view, to select appropriate technology schemes and to develop and initiate a dissemination process in order to exploit the identified business opportunities for the European industries related to geothermal energy use.
