Establishment and development of a depuration plant of waste water by high gradient magnetic filtration using ceramic permanent magnets

Objective

1. Establishment and development of prototype of linear filter with permanent magnets;

2. Demonstration of results directly in places where depurators are located;

3. Technology transfer.

The new SMAG technology allow, with low investment, to obtain a remarkable improvement in the characteristic of the refluent water coming out from the traditional depuration plants.

In case of setting up of new depuration plants, the SMAG technology allow to obtain a convenient cost/benefit ratio of the investment.

The promoters of the new technology, valuating the great environment implications referred to linear filter with permanent magnets, are intentioned to develop the project through the following outlines:
1) Construction of a movable depuration plant on truck complete with laboratory, in order to show in the place of any depuration plant, the potentiality of SMAG plant;
2) A planned and remarkable action of promotion and sensitization of the new technology in order to set up a relevant number of new filters and plants in Europe;
3) Research of synergy, industrial and productive cooperation between other companies by patent license agreement.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
