The report will set the criteria on which the sequences that will become the reference of the whole project will be picked (i.e., total combustible gas produced, generation rates, in-containment distribution, etc.). In addition, it will provide a comprehensive description of such sequences. The selection process will be done on the database generated within the tasks 2.2 through 2.4.

Modelling guidelines for simulating severe accident combustion risk scenarios with LP, 3D containment and CFD computer codes (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This document will summarize the experience gained during the analyses of the different plant designs and accident sequences. Important modeling choices e.g. nodalization, selection of physical models, H2/CO combustion risk estimation, PAR, sprays and FCVS modeling strategy as well as post processing will be documented along with identified limitations of the codes.
Synthesis of the workshops (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)In this report, the main outcomes from the M36 and M48 workshop will be included, taking into account the discussions within the project partners during the preparation of the workshops and while participating in them.
Proposals for LTO upgrades for minimizing combustion risks during hypothetical severe accidents in European PWRs. (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This document will derive from the results above desired instrumentation and equipment availability and, to some extent, typically desired qualification requirements. The document will point out the most important instrumentation with respect to minimize the combustion risk and the most efficient equipment for risk reduction. The proposals for upgrades will be organized in three categories. First category are simply changes in the SAMGs, e.g. adding existing instrumentation to the SAMG documents, changing strategies or adding new strategies. Secondly, plant specific numerical simulations will be proposed as basis to enable well-founded decisions in the SAMGs and justify the strategies and set points. Lastly, recommendations for hardware upgrades will be given, e.g., monitoring systems, PARs, and hardening of other systems. The report will be arranged in a general part and in three plant specific chapters (PWR-W, PWR-KWU, PWR-VVER).

Data for the generic containment analysis (PWR-W, PWR-VVER, PWR-KWU) (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)The report will gather the data essential to build a generic lumped-parameter containment model which representative is plausible in terms of H2 and CO distribution. According to the scope of the WP2, three individual sections will deal with the three types of PWRs (Westinghouse, VVER and KWU) the tasks addressing calculations will be focused on.

Plant specific SAMG guidance minimizing the H2/CO combustion risk for European PWRs. (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This document discusses the plant specific characteristics in three chapters for the three examined plant types PWR-W, PWR-KWU, PWR-VVER. Thereby, the general recommendations in D5.1 will be adapted and possible deviations from the general recommendations will be pointed out and justified with respect to the plant designs.
Generic guideline for SAMG development minimizing the H2/CO combustion risk in a containment. (se abrirá en una nueva ventana)This document will present a generic overview about the project results with respect to deal in SAMGs and EOPs with combustion risks. The different actions, with focus on spray, containment cooling and FCVS, will be discussed and proposals for optimized guidance with respect to, e.g., timing and threshold values, will be given.
