Management and treatment of waste products in France and Europe

Objective

OBJECTIVES
To respond to the demands for European standards with regard to the treatment of waste products and to adapt to the evolution of technologies linked with their recycling, the project will develop complementary initial vocational training in the area of the treatment and management of waste products from chemical, metal and construction companies. It aims on one hand, to adapt the content of initial vocational training and to develop new qualifications, and on the other hand, to adapt training methods. Particular attention will be given to the methods of tutoring (or mentoring/coaching) in companies.

ACTIVITIES
An analysis of the current situation in this field in the three countries will be conducted. It will be integrated into the training modules linked to this theme and to the needs of companies. The common training modules will therefore be developed and a methodological guide for tutoring in companies will be produced at the same time on the basis of a comparative study in the partner countries. Exchanges of students and work placements will then allow the tool produced to be tested and the content to be validated by companies. The teachers and tutors will proceed then with a joint evaluation of the students so as to develop appropriate evaluation grids/scales. And finally, an educational pack will be finalised and marketed.

PRODUCTS
- An educational pack for students in professional training and for companies.
- Suitable diploma training modules, relative to the management of chemical, metal and building companies.
- A methodological guide on methods of tutoring (or coaching/mentoring).
- Evaluation and progress grids for collective and individual educational methods.
