Personalised open life long learning network

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The change taking place in training is today fast reaching its economic limits. Plans have to be made to train an increasingly large number of students with means which are likely to become standard. This project aims to improve the quality of individualised training for people with few qualifications by making the training bodies' teaching resource centres more effective. The plan is to combine new communication technologies with individualised training methods. In the framework of a transnational partnership, the project envisages networking the various resource centres, whose main objective is to offer high-quality, flexible and adapted training opportunities to disadvantaged people. Sharing this problem will promote the exchange of experiences regarding tools and methods, thus allowing the most relevant of these to be retained.

ACTIVITIES
The project will be implemented in five phases. Firstly, the current situation of the various partners must be studied. This will lead to the definition and introduction of tools for exchanges between teaching teams. In the second phase, these tools will have to be tested at several resource centres. It is then planned to increase the number of training centres to around ten. After this step, the project work will be made concrete in the form of a training guide, a training module for trainers, etc. Finally, distribution and preparation for transfer on a transnational scale are envisaged.
