European mastercourses for support and training in Estuarine regions

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The organisation of continuing education for people already in work in the trading and industrial sectors would increase the competitiveness of European companies. The objective pursued under this project is therefore to create Master of Sciences training modules which would enable employees to acquire new knowledge in the field of modern technology and thus accelerate their career path through the company in which they are employed.

ACTIVITIES
In a co-operative venture between various European universities, Master of Sciences training modules will be created for employees of industry and trade. These modules will be available for companies, which will be able to select all the modules together or just the modules which are of particular interest to them. Originally intended for employees, the modules will also be suitable for training young people who are finishing their studies at a technical college, allowing them to acquire management skills which could be of help in securing them a future place on the employment market. At a later date the project envisages intensified co-operation between universities and companies in order to develop the training modules and initiate thesis projects.

PRODUCTS
The project will result in the creation of training modules for employees of trade and industry. A network of various companies and universities will allow the training modules to be distributed over a wider area.
