Objective
OBJECTIVES
In the telecommunications and information networks sectors, which are undergoing world-wide expansion, technologies change rapidly. In addition, these sectors are confronted with fierce competition on a global scale. The first aim of the project is to set up a job reference system by anticipating the ways in which jobs will change, and to adapt the training programmes currently available. Secondly, it proposes to participate in the design of tools for transferring technological developments to companies. The third aim is to bring training in the Member States into alignment by means of a concerted change in vocational training programmes.
ACTIVITIES
The project will be implemented in four steps. The first will be dedicated to the production of a set of specifications common to the different partners with the aim of designing an adapted methodology for analysing qualification requirements. In the second step, each partner will use this common methodology to carry out surveys on the typical job profile at the companies in its country. A reference system common to the various partners will be produced, in which new job profiles resulting from technological changes will be identified. In the final step, the effects on training bodies will be analysed by each partner country.
