Objective
OBJECTIVES
Women are increasingly being called upon to play an economic, social and political role in our society, but suitable means have yet to be made available which will help them to reinforce their position in these various areas. The partners propose to help them to carve a niche for themselves on the job market, to encourage them to create their own jobs and to provide them with the support necessary to set up companies. This is to be achieved by means of a network of female company owners and the conception of a "tailored" training programme aimed at encouraging young women with ideas to take the initiative and to take risks, and at providing them with the means to carry their projects through to completion.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will begin by setting up a reference group and networks of female company owners in several European regions. They will then analyse their requirements in terms of training and support in order to produce training programmes and work methods and tools which meet the requirements identified. This training material, designed on the one hand for female company owners and on the other hand for young female graduates with potential for setting up their own companies, will then be tested and evaluated by the transnational network of female company owners.
PRODUCTS
Establishment of national and transnational networks of female company owners and production of a manual for the management of the networks. Creation of a training programme, work methods and tools "tailored" for female company owners and young female graduates.
