Objective
OBJECTIVES
On the basis of the conclusions drawn in the FORCE report on "Anticipated changes in qualifications and training in the industrial cleaning sector", the social partners in this sector wish to define a minimum training standard for cleaners on a European level which can then be adapted to national levels of continuing and initial training.
ACTIVITIES
A common definition of the function of cleaners must be decided on with a view to creating a reference system on the subject of training which will be submitted to the partner companies and social partners in European social dialogue. The partners will then produce the teaching content of the training by modularising the various steps and creating test situations. Teaching tools will also be developed. A system for validating the training will be introduced. Transfer and distribution tests will be carried out with employees of the partner companies and a training body before presenting the results to the social partners in the framework of European social dialogue.
PRODUCTS
The training kit for cleaners will consist of the training reference system, the teaching programme (objective, modularisation and test), teaching tools (trainer's manual and documents for trainees) and the validation system. This type of tool can be used for continuing training for people already in employment or those undergoing initial training.
