Objective
OBJECTIVES
The increased international division of work, the preferred recruitment of engineers over skilled workers, the use of new technologies such as CAD, CAQ, CAM and the general use of computers in the construction sector, and particularly the new international regulations (EN standards) mean that higher qualifications are now required for professions in the construction industry. The objective of the project is to improve the qualifications of skilled workers in the areas of CAD, TQM (EN9001, quality assurance element number 4), methodological aspects relating to construction and the use of European standards in mechanical construction.
ACTIVITIES
The intention of the project is to develop, test and evaluate modular continuing vocational training concepts for the construction sector. The partners plan to jointly develop and co-ordinate objectives, methods and contents and to test and evaluate the modules developed. Finally, the modules produced will be translated into German and French.
