Objective
OBJECTIVES
Recently, the strategies implemented at companies for the purpose of improving their competitiveness have all involved a greater degree of participation on the part of employees, the aim being to benefit from their innovative potential. Consequently, new forms of work organisation, such as team work, and new management methods, are being given priority. In future, it is likely that employees will play an increasingly large role in the implementation of innovative processes. The project therefore proposes to design continuing training tools for SMEs to enable employees to participate in the design of innovative processes.
ACTIVITIES
The partners will firstly identify the specific demands emerging within companies. For this purpose they will interview business managers selected from the five partner countries involved in the project. Once the requirements have been identified, they will design a new vocational training concept enabling employees to become involved in the development of innovative processes. The training will be accompanied by appropriate training material. The new training programme will be tested on a target group, using a continual feedback system; and a group of experts consisting of partners from the various countries will be responsible for evaluating and adjusting the programme.
PRODUCTS
The project will result in the creation of innovator profiles, a manual describing the concept, methodology and organisation of in-company seminars. This will also contain training material for trainers. In addition, a multimedia module focusing on self-learning methods will be produced.
