Objective
OBJECTIVES
Collective negotiations present a framework in which advances can be made in adapting continuing vocational training contents and methods to technological developments, changes in work organisation and social change. For this purpose, however, the trade union representatives must themselves be well trained in this area. The aim of the project is firstly to set up an international, interactive network in order to promote co-operation between trade unions on these matters. It then proposes to define the qualifications and capabilities necessary for trade union representatives in negotiating on issues of in-company training. Finally, it aims to develop, supply and evaluate continuing vocational training programmes designed specifically for trade union representatives who are responsible for in-company training contracts.
ACTIVITIES
The interactive network will operate using an electronic mail service. Pilot training courses, which will be evaluated, will be developed in the four partner countries, namely Spain, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium.
