An open learning scheme for continuing training in enterprises submitted to industrial changes

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The training system currently in place in Italy needs to be updated so as to make continuing training programmes designed particularly for SMEs and companies in the process of restructuring or conversion really effective. The principal objective of the project is therefore to increase training opportunities by using new training technologies, but also more flexible, more personal approaches, notably for SMEs. The group targeted by this project includes managers and highly qualified personnel.

ACTIVITIES
In a first phase, the project partners will exchange experiences in order to define the necessary elements of a project focusing on continuing training and open, distance training. They will then define the resources and modalities which are essential in operating an open, distance training programme. They will then plan and improve the content of courses on specific subjects: internationalisation, technological innovations, quality, the environment. Finally, the open-distance training programmes will be advertised to SMEs in the region. The final product will be distributed to the various partners.
