Objective
OBJECTIVES
The aim of the Euro-Immédia project is to provide SMEs connected with the home/building automation sector (intelligent building) with the technical and practical knowledge which will enable them to become players on this market. To this end, the partners propose to develop a multimedia training product in four languages which will encourage the use of self-training for the employees of these SMEs and which will constitute a common language by all those involved with building automation systems, from design to manufacture.
ACTIVITIES
The various partners (university, training bodies, national building automation experts) will firstly design a preliminary project for the training programme. This programme will be produced taking into account the different professions in the sector (research departments, telephone, video, weak current and computer installers, electricians, heating engineers) and will enable skills to be acquired in the voice, data and image networks. It will be structured as follows: 1) Information on home/building automation; 2) Commercial approach; 3) Method for analysing a home/building automation project; 4) Case studies. The preliminary project will be tested and evaluated, the final product will then be completed in French and tested again before being translated into the other three languages (Spanish, English, Dutch) and disseminated.
