Objective
OBJECTIVES
The objective of the project is to introduce SME software enterprises, their managers, their employees and the regional development actors to the concept and benefits of technology transfer. To this end, the partners will produce a training programme designed to facilitate the implementation of new technologies in SMEs in the software industry and to make the businesses aware of the consequences of this transfer process.
ACTIVITIES
The first step will be to identify the needs of the companies, and to list and analyse the experiences of technology transfer in the different regions. Training programmes based on these analyses will then be developed. The programme will be tested and evaluated. Finally, a best practice guide in software technology transfer will be written on the basis of the material the partners have collected from their individual regions.
PRODUCTS
- New practical training programmes for technology transfer in the SME software business.
- Best practice guide in software technology transfer.
- Computer networks used in technology dissemination and training, i.e. databases and World Wide Web pages.
- Network between the SME software companies and the training organisations.
