Objective
OBJECTIVES
Today companies are obliged to launch high-quality, innovative products or services, at competitive prices and within increasingly short timeframes. These challenges are linked with increasing pressure on production costs, an internationalisation of competition and an increasing number of demands in respect of product quality and compliance with environmental standards. These changes have a greater impact on SMEs. This project proposes to help cottage-industry SMEs to overcome these difficulties by strengthening their capacity to react and adapt to this unsettled environment. To this end, the partners will produce a training programme on decision-making in the form of a multimedia software programme designed for company managers.
ACTIVITIES
In order to remedy SME managers' lack of qualifications in strategic management, the partners will produce a multimedia software programme which simulates the reactions of the market. This tool will help decision-makers to develop a global vision of the strategic decisions which they make, of their internal consequences on the operation of the company and their external impact, in an environment where all variables are interdependent.
PRODUCTS
This multimedia training programme will consist of several interdependent modules which will include all the traditional management functions such as marketing, financial management, personnel management, production management and organisation. This programme will be available on the Internet.
