Joint analyses and training project for technology transfer and mobility of SMEs

Objective

OBJECTIVES
An analysis of the needs in terms of skills, qualifications and training, training consultancy and the evaluation of training measures in the area of technological transfer and the mobility of human resources are important elements in the advancement of innovation for SMEs. Starting from these considerations, this project intends to add a European dimension to the training of SMEs, by co-operating with various partners in different European regions. It will thus be possible to improve the marketing of education and training in favour of SMEs by developing methods of analysing the need for specialisation and by combining the idea of technological transfer with the idea of employee mobility by improving employees' qualifications through European training seminars.

ACTIVITIES
The present project will combine a number of activities. The aim in this case will be to analyse the need for specialisation in the chemistry, tourism and mechanical and engineering sectors and to analyse seminars that already exist in these sectors for technical employees, junior and middle managers and employees of personnel departments. The project also envisages the development of a training product which incorporates the best practices and the best training seminars, a list of specialisation deficits, a bibliography and a list of management consultants. Finally, the project envisages organising a number of conferences and a permanent virtual contact market.

PRODUCTS
The SMEs will have available to them instruments for identifying specialisation and training deficits so as to improve on employee training planning, make their professional training programmes more efficient and to exchange experiences with European partners.
