Objective
OBJECTIVES
Profitable transnational co-operation between the SMEs of the SAAR-LOR-LUX region also requires improvement in the language and intercultural skills of all those involved. By focusing on the environment and metal sectors, this project intends to establish the needs for language skills by the SMEs in this region and to develop training methods and materials to fill in the gaps in both sectors. The aim is therefore to maintain the competitiveness of the region's small-scale enterprises by providing them with the language and intercultural skills needed to extend their activities to other areas of the region.
ACTIVITIES
With the help of a transnational analysis, the project starts by listing the needs and implications of language training programmes within a certain number of small-scale enterprises in the SAAR-LOR-LUX region. Based on this analysis the partnership will develop a methodological concept for the target group's language training. After this, the modular training aids centred on the trainee are produced taking into account authentic vocational communication situations. The training programmes will be supported by the targeted use of media.
