Technical language courses in dental medicine and techniques - job market Europe

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The free movement of jobs, which will eventually have to be generalised, in the dentistry sector, does not just come up against the different national legislation and traditions, but also against language barriers. In order to have dental assistants and technicians benefit from transnational experience, it is intended to develop curricula and training aids within the framework of this project based on an analysis of the target group's language training needs, which could be used from a distance and alongside professional work.

ACTIVITIES
The project starts with an analysis stage and defines the needs of dental assistants and technicians for dental terminology in French, English and German, during which the various partners provide national data. It will be completed during a second stage by the development of methods of analysing language training needs in the different countries. Then comes the development of various curricula, learning materials, and suggestopedia-based training for the different countries, target groups and subjects.
