Transnational module for orientation and realisation of communicative skills in health and social care

Objective

OBJECTIVES
Similar Developments can be observed in the health and social security sectors of the different Member States of the EU. These services are being rationalised everywhere, placement in institutions is being replaced with working from home, and we are beginning to work at European level. In order to prepare young people in training courses for these changes, to give them the tools needed for working in a transnational framework and to encourage their mobility, this project intends to develop transnational training courses which will help the training institutions prepare their students to enter working life successfully. The partners will also endeavour to strengthen co-operation between the training institutions and the professionals.

ACTIVITIES
The partnership will first of all set up a transnational network of training institutions, professional organisations and public authorities concerned with the health and social security sectors. The curricula and working methods in the various Members States will be compared, steps taken in the various countries for rationalising these sectors, and new demands for competence identified. Based on this preliminary stage of investigation, the partners will set up transnational training courses adapted to the new developments by emphasising the ability to communicate and by incorporating the European dimension. These training courses will be innovative with regard to the content, methods and media used (interactive learning and flexibility through multimedia support).
