Objectif
OBJECTIVES
Our era is characterised by an almost exclusive use of the written word which raises a good number of problems for dyslexic people. These difficulties, however, can be overcome by using new technologies which should enable dyslexic young people to develop their talents to the full. The objective of this project is to develop training courses for dyslexic young people in vocational training so that they are better able to follow the content of the programmes offered, improve their reading skills and be introduced to the use of new technologies.
ACTIVITIES
The project will produce a set of courses which will be offered in 4 different countries and which will deal with reading and writing difficulties. To be more precise, these courses will aim to help young people overcome difficulties in learning their mother tongue caused by dyslexia, teach them to use systems of information effectively, provide information for people involved with dyslexics, and create good self-confidence. The course materials will be produced in English and translated into the languages of the participating countries. The programme will also include a training seminar for trainers specialising in this area.
