Objective
OBJECTIVES
Awareness of the importance of continuing education and training must not be taken as read. The main objective of this project is therefore to define the most significant experiences in the area of adult education, with regard to training, and vocational re-training in the three partner countries in order to consolidate and to expand them.
ACTIVITIES
One of the first activities of the project will be to identify the best promotional strategies for encouraging access to teaching and training programmes for the most disadvantaged people on the labour market. Secondly, the partnership will enable training material to be developed for improving the quality of the services provided in adult education. Measures will also be taken for reviewing teaching methods and careers advice strategies, as well as re-motivation. The behaviour and needs of adults following this teaching will obviously be considered. In the last stage, further training will be given to trainers. Throughout the project, close co-operation between the social partners and local training centres will be encouraged. Finally, the products will be tested and assessed within organisations and local training centres.
PRODUCTS
- The final product will be a curriculum for non-vocational courses aimed at the long-term unemployed. This will promote and guarantee access for the target group to education, training and motivation programmes.
- The second product will be a training programme for trainers.
