Objective
OBJECTIVES
The objective of this project is to transfer and distribute the teaching methods and tools of vocational training developed in the framework of a PETRA project on the new technologies and advanced systems of automation for comfort and safety in the home in the year 2000. The project wishes particularly to disseminate innovations in training and improve vocational training procedures in co-operation with the universities and enterprises. It will also familiarise Italian teachers with teaching methods specific to the theme of the project and provide practical training periods on sites.
ACTIVITIES
In order to achieve their objectives, the partners will develop various modules. They will benefit from the experience of the Danish and British partners who will contribute more specifically to training trainers. The Italian enterprises and institutes of architects and engineers will also be involved in training trainers, but on a more practical level at sites and on projects. Finally, the small-scale, commercial and trade union institutions will co-operate as regards the impact on employment.
