Objetivo
OBJECTIVES
Today, the entertainment industry moves somewhere between innovation and respect for tradition, in an area in which the European dimension is increasingly important. But, in order for it to open up, this sector needs to link these two extremes. It has to be said that, in many countries, no training is provided to initiate people working in entertainment (lighting and sound technicians, etc.) in the modern techniques used in this sector. The project, therefore, proposes to create initial training modules in these countries and to develop a European system for validating the vocational qualifications acquired in this way.
ACTIVITIES
In order to do this, the partners will draw up an inventory of the key skills currently mastered by technicians in the entertainment sector. This will provide an overview of the qualifications needed in this field. At the same time, a study will be carried out on existing training programmes. When the results of these two studies (analysis of the skills required, analysis of existing training courses) are pooled, an initial training module will be created for entertainment industry technicians. This will be validated by the partner countries of the project, which will encourage mobility in this sector.
PRODUCTS
The end product will be in the form of a guide for trainers, translated into Spanish, French and Portuguese and including training plans, methods for assessing the knowledge acquired and skills validation systems.
