Training of trainers and key personnel in equal opportunities issues

Objective

OBJECTIVES
The project aims at heightening the awareness of the need to act in favour of equal opportunities for men and women amongst public and private sector personnel, and more particularly by those in the education sector. For this purpose, the partners will evaluate current attitudes regarding the training of women and issues relating to their employment, and will develop training material dealing with equal opportunities for the benefit of trainers and key players in vocational training. The partners thus hope to create training, employment and career opportunities for women.

ACTIVITIES
A survey will be conducted in educational institutions, training organisations and businesses to ascertain current training levels in equal opportunities and anticipated future requirements. Transnational equal opportunities training modules will be developed and disseminated via a network of European partners. Finally, there will be an exchange of staff and expertise in the area of equal opportunities training.
